Ballerinas Recite it all

Ansley and Hailey had their Ballet Recital on Tuesday. It was very cute with a group of ten 4 and 5 year olds doing (or not doing) all sorts of ballet movements to orchestral versions of disney songs.

Ansley was the oldest in the class by two years. Hailey was one of the youngest. So most of the girls in the class had abilities in between our two little ladies. Ansley followed every move the teacher made, in time to the music, with agility and precision.

Hailey followed some, but got distracted easily and danced off in her own direction instead of following the line across the room. A couple times Hailey stuck her tongue out of the side of her mouth in concentration. Ansley would look at us out the corner of her eye and pose extra nicely if she suspected we were about to take a picture. Both Ansley's perfect posing and Hailey's staring off into space while she twirled five seconds longer than the rest...they were both just adorable.

Grandma Whitley made a special appearance, as well as Daddy, who took all the photos while Grandma and I took turns holding Emberly. Daddy was particularly brave to run up and photograph all their ballet slippers together in a circle because no other parents jumped up to capture the moment on film.

What a fun thing to see my two pretty granddaughters dance and play, and hold the baby! Thanks for inviting me :)
